CHALLENGE

Create a sub-brand for a new deli, the off-shoot of an established fine dining restaurant. With new offices bringing hundreds more customers to its corporate park location, the Brasserie Market provides a convenient alternative to its highly acclaimed, but often over-subscribed, daytime business. The deli’s identity must clearly link with the mother brand and yet project the new venture’s own, distinct proposition.

SOLUTION

Positioned around freshness, quality and convenience and aimed at a young, upscale professional crowd, the Brasserie Market needed a classic, informal and low key identity. We began by developing a brandmark that echoed the deli’s mother brand supported by a natural, earth-toned colour palette and friendly lower-case typography. Uniforms, menu boards and directional signage completed the environmental fit-out.

RESULTS

A simple, clean brand identity that beautifully expresses the deli’s farm-to-table ethos and has helped make the it probably the most popular daytime eatery in the market.
